Our Work

Malama Huleia

Mālama Hulē‘ia is dedicated to restoring and protecting the Hulē‘ia watershed and Alakoko Fishpond in Kauaʻi, preserving the area’s ecological and cultural heritage. Drones for Dreams captured stunning aerial footage of these restoration sites, showcasing their natural beauty, environmental significance, and the organization’s ongoing conservation efforts.

We were impressed not only by the quality of the drone photography from Drones for Dreams, but by the initiative Braeden showed in reaching out to a nonprofit thousands of miles from home and offering to contribute his skills. His generosity, professionalism, and talent made him a pleasure to work with, and the results exceeded our expectations. The footage he captured provides a stunning perspective on the Hulē‘ia watershed and Alakoko Fishpond, helping us showcase the scale, beauty, and importance of our restoration work in a way that simply isn't possible from the ground. The quality of the imagery was exceptional, and he demonstrated both technical skill and a strong eye for storytelling. What impressed us just as much was his professionalism. Although he is still a student, he communicated clearly, arrived prepared, worked independently, and took the time to understand our mission and goals. He was thoughtful about what he filmed and genuinely interested in the environmental and cultural significance of the places he was documenting. The footage he created will be valuable to our organization for years to come. We plan to use it in social media, newsletters, donor communications, website, fundraising campaigns, and other outreach efforts. His contribution has helped us tell our story more effectively and reach a wider audience. It is rare to encounter someone so young who combines technical ability, initiative, creativity, and generosity so naturally. We are deeply grateful for his contribution and would enthusiastically recommend him to any organization seeking high-quality drone videography.
