Our Why

At Drones for Dreams, we are more than just a drone photography and videography company. After I was asked to do drone work for a local non-profit and realizing they don’t have a big budget for often expensive drone work. I immediately knew there was a way to help. So I created Drones for Dreams to provide free drone work to non profit organizations and other companies just doing good in the world.

About the founder

"A Passion for Sharing my Skills with Causes I Believe In"

Meet Braeden Macchia, a 15-year-old student enrolled at Silver Creek High School in the scenic Boulder County, Colorado. When Braeden is not flying he is participating in football, basketball, and track and field. He also loves to ride his bike through all the amazing mountain bike trails Colorado has to offer. Braeden has been piloting drones for nearly five years, capturing unique aerial perspectives and improving his skills in unmanned flight.

A Message from the Braeden...

"I have always had a passion for capturing moments with photography. However, normal photography is usually just recreating perspectives people have already seen. That's when I found drones. With drones, it gives me the ability to show everyday things from a perspective nobody has seen before. After having a drone for almost 6 years and taking thousands of pictures and hours of video I wanted to use my skill to do good in the world. With drone work being so expensive I wanted to create an opportunity for organizations that are focusing their budgets on doing good to have access to this kind of marketing."
